What I've been doing since high school:

Update 6-23-19

Five years ago we left eastern Washington and bought a home in Pleasant Grove. During the first year back to Utah we decided to move to Barrow, Alaska and work for the school district (Greg as business director, myself as special education aide at the high school). The North Slope Borough School District covers an area the size of Minnesota and includes 8 native Inupiat villages of which Barrow (Utquiavik) is the largest. We kept our home in PG and appreciate getting to enjoy the simple things during our trips back such as a road system, trees, Provo Canyon, fountain sodas and Taco Bell

FYI: Barrow, Alaska is the northern most point, right on the shores of the Arctic Ocean. We have appreciated being taken out of our comfort zone and to work with the Inupiat natives. However,I never have gained a liking for maktuk (raw whale)!

==================================

After getting married in 1982, Greg and I stayed in Provo until he finished school at BYU. At that time our first two kids had joined us. We then headed to the Pacific Northwest and lived in Bellevue, Washington for 12 years. We had our other three kids while in Bellevue and loved living there until we felt it would be best for our kids to see a different side of life than that in Bellevue. Greg was hired at a manufacturing company in Wenatchee, Washington, and has worked there since Spring of 1997. He is currently the CFO and we have thoroughly enjoyed living in this area which sits just east of the Cascade Mountains with the Columbia River just a few miles from our home. Our oldest daughter Stephanie and her husband are finishing their schooling at BYU and are looking to head to law school. Tammy graduated last April from BYU Idaho and is just finishing up massage school in Salt Lake. Kendra and her husband Ryan are also students in Provo, (BYU and UVU, respectfully) and have much to look forward to in the future. Our only son Spencer is graduating from high school in a few months and is looking at heading down to Provo to attend BYU and work for the summer/fall until he heads out on a mission. Carly is the caboose and is planning on BYU Provo after she graduates from high school next year. Greg and I are thinking hard at what life will be like when Carly is gone. The house will be too quiet and people really have to go out of their way to make a trip to Wenatchee. We look forward to giving thought to other options.
