Hey Bryan,
I'm sure you're allowed a mistake, after all the smiles you've put on our faces by working on this site.
Please know that the lack of contributions in no way reflects great value of the web site. I'm waiting for next paycheck.
Keep up the good work.
Pete

Rob Shultz, I just got done looking at all the dance photos and came to this conculusion; you went out with every girl in our class. Those were good times.

Hey just wanted to let you guys know that my dad has thoroughly enjoyed viewing your profiles with me. If you want stories.....!!!! Cindy Q. he still has a little crush on you!!! We talked about the "dirty dozen" as well and we can't remember all the members of that Farrer Jr. High organization. Any takers/admitters?!??!!!

Kirk,
I did actually try to date them all. But there were some that you could never get up the courage to approach. I am convinced that the dates that Cindy Quinn, Michelle Lindford and Margret Macabe went on were specifically arranged by thier parents, because I know that all us guys were terrified to ask them out on thier own.(Except for David Gillie who thought he was ALL THAT and a bag of chips.) You know, I just realized, all I needed was a dark blue 68 Camero..........

Kelly L, David J, you guys can get guest profiles on the PHS site, but you've got to request them *at* the PHS site. They control that. We don't. Just go to http://www.provo79.com//class_classmates.cfm, scroll to the bottom where it says "To join this site click on your own name above. If your name needs to be added please contact us.", and click on the link. Wayne Fagg and his cohorts will be happy to have you on board.

Hey Bobby! All you had to do was ask. (Instead of stealing it, you dog!) By the way, I've got the car. The thing is, though, you've got to wear this special set of glasses I have before you can see it. More details in a subsequent message.

Dave,
Are those glasses the kind they use to offer in the back of comic books back in the 60s and 70s? You know, the ones that claimed to be X-ray vision? Dude, I've been wearing those for 45 years now......

Teresa Moore Voorhees has it! The 68 Camero! They got it and dolled it all up. Take a look. It's on her profile page. Very nice stuff indeed...........

I'd like to draw everyone's attention to the Influential Teachers poll up in the left top corner of the webpage. We've had about eight responses so far. This was put together at the suggestion of David Gillie and Carla Vorhaus. They would like to see the information gained from the poll used to identify the top-scoring teachers so that they can be honored in some way. This could be as simple as signing and sending Thank You cards or it could be something more formal. If anyone has suggestions, please post them here or send them to the "Contact Us" link at the top of the page. Thanks.

Speaking of Dave Harris' suggestions of most popular teachers. I convinced Ron Dennis, the auto shop teacher, to update his profile that Dave and Bryan had set up for him. It would be really nice if we could put more of those up as they are available, so that those teachers that influenced our lives can see us and respond as well. I would be very interested in knowing where Coach Wayne Sorensen is. Any thoughts about this idea?
Bobby

Bobby: You and David Gillie both brought up Coach Sorensen. If you can figure out how to contact him and he's interested, we'd be happy to set up a profile for him. That goes for any other teachers, as well. By the way, thanks for helping Ron Dennis get hooked up.

I have been on planet Uropa for so long, I would have no idea as to where to even begin to look. Any suggestions from anyone? John, Carl, Richard? Anyone have a clue where I could start?

Thanks to help from many of you, we have been able to contact several hundred former classmates. As some of you know, there are now fewer than 80 missing classmates. I'd like to make a special push now to find some of the people listed below whose names are so common as to make it difficult to zero in on them effectively using online phonebooks. I believe these are the type of names that are only going to be found through friends who have remained in contact over the years. Please look through the list below and try to think if you have any means of contacting any of them or if you know anyone who does. Thanks in advance.

Jennifer S. Anderson, John Anderson, Linda Black Boatman, Rob Carter, Jeff Carver, Patricia Clark, Carol Cunningham, Scott Harmon, Bill Harris, Steve Hawkins, Richard Herbert, Kyle Jensen, Scott Johnson, Karen Judd, David Lott, Dalynn Miller, Jill Miner, Scott Mitchell, Roger B. Nielsen, Natalie Parkinson Christensen, Mike Rice, Laura Smith, Susan Stephan Hardy, Lynn Swenson, Jerry Tanner, Teann Taylor, Susan Wagstaff, Bruce Walton, Kathy Watson Sheetz, Kay Merrell Webster, Jeanette Wilkinson Seipert, Bryan Young, Robert S. Ok if you want to see some pics I mean some old pics of classmates go to my page I have some pics at Provost elementary second grade and when a few of us played baseball when we were young and also sixth grade at Rock Canyon take a look and see if you know anyone. If you know any of the classmates I have a Ns by let me know who they are thanks. My memory is only so good that is my long term is better than my short term lol

Incredibly, we are now down to fewer than 50 missing classmates. (46 at last count.) Thanks to everyone who has contributed to the search-and-rescue effort. We don't want to stop, though, until we've contacted everyone we can possibly contact. So please click on the "Missing Classmates" link to the left and see if you can't help locate some of the lost souls there.

By the way, there are three or four of the final 46 that I know of who simply don't care to be a part of this. If there are others, please let us know so we can update their profiles with a note. We respect people's right to be left alone if that's what they prefer.

On another note, PHS still has roughly four times as many missing classmates as we do. People like David Cannon, Krista Clark, Jennifer Hillam,
Gordon Hofheins, Shauna Kocherhans, Eric Mabey, Howard Page, Adam Stone, Valerie Weaver, Robert Wilson and John Zumbrennen just shouldn't be that hard to find. If you have a lead on one of these folks, please contact the PHS admin folks and help them out. I used to work with Stacey Thomas's father, so I will try to use that lead to find her. If you know where someone from that class is or how to contact them, please help our sister class out.

Fantastic job David Harris, Bryan Chapman, Tom Thomas, Kipp Robins, Charlotte Jackson Hart, Robert Shultz, David Lamb and others in finding our missing classmates with the goal to have no lost classmates as all are important in the Timpview class of '79 fold. For those few that don't want to be identified right now, that's o.k.--I hope they know they are an integral and important part of our class and who knows, maybe for the 35 or 40 year reunion they will want to link on to this website. That's the nice thing about this site, it takes us "Back to the Future" and let's us remember what we were all a part of during the late '70's (after all, it was our turn on earth to be teenagers!) and will continue to be a great tool going forward into the future in building and fostering friendships within the Timpview Class of '79 community.

Sorry to hear about your eye problem, Dave. I hope your recovery will be complete soon. I'm working on a project at the moment to render Bobby Schultz temporarily color-blind during the first weekend in July so that I can convince him my bronze Saturn SL is really a blue Camaro. Wish me luck!

OK,
So my craziness has made itself manifest yet again. I have officially entered the Teton Dam Marathon on June 13th here in Rexburg. I am running the half marathon. I have been working out and my road work has taken me up to 10 miles in the evenings in just under two hours. But at my age, not without a price. Luckily, all my aches and pains are confined to muscules upset about having thier carma disturbed. My joints seem to be fairing quite well. It would be a thrill and an honor to have any of the THS or PHS running guys and anyone else crazy enough, come up and kick my trash. Gillie, here is your chance. But remember, I may be slow now, but I can still run in the zone and at a steady even pace. I'd love to see anyone come........

Don't look at me, Schultz. My running days are over, and they have been ever since I left Farrer Junior High after 9th grade.

ASTOUNDING!!! I made it the entire 13.2 miles without stopping! In fact, I beat my 18 year old daughter across the finish line by 20 minutes. She had some shin splint problems early in the race. I took 10th in my age class, (Yes, there were more than 11 runners in my catagory). I did it in 2:08:42. Not bad for an old fart. I am really looking forward to the next one in August up in Ashton, Idaho. Then I plan to run the full marathon in September down in Logan. Love to have any of you come and run with me.
Bobby

Alan,
That is so wonderful to hear. Do you know what sessions or times he works there? Lola and I were thinking of taking in a session on Friday sometime. It would be wonderful to see and talk with him.
