What I've been doing since high school:

I loved high school, so many good friends. This has been a great tool into the past, to see all of you here. After high scool I started at the trade tech in there electrical program. In 1980 I served a mission for the LDS church in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Loved every minute of it and met a lot of very neat people. I returned home in '82 and picked up where I left off in the electrical program. I worked with our family electrical company at the same time.
In 1983 I met my wife, Suzanne. She was attending BYU and majoring in Interior Design. I was invited to her home by her roommate to celebrate Canadian thanksgiving, well one thing lead to another, I fell in love and she felt sorry for me and I and Suzanne were married June 2 1984 in the Salt Lake Temple.
In 1985 Jessica was born (not quite sure how that happened... Suzanne said she would explain it later). Jessica is now 24 and married Brandon Spainhower and she is going to be a mom, and Im going to be a grandpa. Im way too young to be a grandpa.
In '85 I also finished my electrical schooling and recieved my journeymans lic.
I continued working for Davis Electrical Contracting untill 1987.
In 1987 Carrie was born she came screaming and yelling and hasn't stopped. She is getting married to a young (brave soul) named Brad on the 12th of Aug. On Aug 13th Suzanne and I are moving to an undisclosed location..... Dont tell Brad...
In 1987 I also got an opportunity to attend Ball State University in Muncie Indiana in an MBA program. We lived in a little city called Anderson and worked as a general manager for a sporting goods store while attending school.
After completing school in Indiana we returned to Provo to help the family business through some tough times. I spent two more years in school and recieved my masters electrical certificate and also spent time working on a construction management degree.
1990 brought us Kyle, he has been a ton of fun. He graduated from Salem Hills High School this year and like most 18 year olds just knows he's smarter than the whole world especially his parents.... just ask him he'll tell you... he forgets I'm still 18 just a little grayer.
Between 1990 and 1996 alot of things happened. Suzanne and I Started our own electrical company called ClearVision Electric LLC and after getting that up and running we started a hobby business called JCK vending after JESS, CARRIE, and KYLE. We developed this little honor box vending business, some of you may have seen these little snack boxes in your places of business. Well our little hobby soon turned into a full blown business with 12 employee's and 1800 clients. We sold that business and stayed with the Electrical contracting..... not one of my smarter moves... yet still fun.
Brian was born in 96. he is 12 now and tougher than nails. Likes school but would rather run one of the backhoes. Every year since kindergarten he has us bring over some piece of equipment so he can tell his class mates about it in show and tell. He proudly told his mother and I that when he gets married and has a boy he's going to name him "Baylor", we were excited that he would be thinking ahead untill we realized he was going to name him after a piece of farm equipment (bailer) because thats what they use on a farm and its "cool"! Look out I"m raising Larry the Cable Guys replacement.... Im still pounding my head on the wall. I think his mom is going to dis-own both of us.
1998 brought us our twin girls Stephanie and Tiffany. What a riot. I could not for the life of me tell them apart until they where almost 4 years old. I crossed them up in there hospital beds as new borns. That created havoc with the medical staff when they were born... I was not invited back.... I've tucked them in the wrong beds only to have to be rescued by their mom... Man I will not trade that lady jobs.... ever.
All in all things are pretty good, sure its a roller coaster, but we just tighten our seat belts and hold on.
Since 1998 we have aquired the family electrical company as well as our own. WE have had numerous church callings and loved them all. Suzanne is currently in the Young Womens Program and I am in a Bishopric for the forth time....one of these times i'll get it right...
