I recently visited an urgent care center for the flu and in walked Dr. Heaton as my physician--thanks to Ben for reconnecting me to our class!

I left Timpview to BYU interrupted by my mission to Tokyo, Japan. During my senior year at BYU I went to ladies night at the Star Palace where I first met my bride from San Diego. When I finally took her home to meet my parents, I learned about my mother's hidden prejudices when she complained, "She's from California? Why can't you meet a nice girl from Idaho?"

I graduated from BYU and then got my MBA from the University of Utah. After 15 years of visiting San Diego for the holidays, driving back to the slushy snow and ice of winter, we decided to pull up roots and move to San Diego where we have been for the last 10 years.

My brothers and sister are in Utah and I miss it, although I have become a regular reader of The Daily Herald online.

I worked for Siemens Medical for most of my career, and was bitten the entrepreneurial bug several years ago and started VOCEL.

I have enjoyed seeing your pictures and will post mine soon so check back.

Actually this is a Provo High story--during driver's ed we finally got to drive on the practice course in the parking lot. I was driving on the figure 8 course and thought, "Hmmm... I wonder how fast I can go on this before the tires start to screech?" As I was conducting my personal physics experiment on the course I saw Mr. Moon stomping out of the little control booth. I remember thinking, "I wonder what he could want." After ripping open my door, he seethed through his teeth, "Do.... you.... think.... you... are.... Mario... Andretti?" Well apparently I did, at least for that day. As I have since been in danger of losing my driver's license many times from speeding, I now know it all started in high school.
