Many remember this gentle, soft-spoken, giant for his quick wit, deep intelligence and lining up against him or along side of him as both Offensive and Defensive Tackle for the Rock Canyon Raiders (9th grade football). Mike Toone will be sorely missed by the class of 1979!

Gregg Hardy lived down the street from my parents for awhile in the 80s. During that period, I would occasionally find him and Mike Toone out working on his car in the driveway and stop and chat them up for a few minutes.

I remember Mike best from Farrer. I probably drove him a little crazy sometimes, but he was a patient man and never held it against me.

Mike was a decent guy, and I'm sorry to hear he's gone. I feel bad that I didn't know it until now. I hope he was able to experience bliss and fulfillment and whatever else he desired in his life.

I remember playing against Mike in Football during my 9th grade year in Jr. High. He was a good football player and we played his team for the championship.
May he rest in Peace.

I lived in the same neighborhood as Mike for about a year. I would see him from time to time, but didn't really get to know him. I remember him as being large in stature for a high school kid, yet very quiet and he seemed to keep to himself. Rest in peace, Mike.
